Partnership for digital change: DSwiss & A-Trust make document processes fit for the future

As the digitization of document processes progresses, digital signature processes are also becoming increasingly important - especially in regulated industries such as finance and administration. At the same time, the requirements for security, user-friendliness and - in connection with the constantly changing regulatory landscape - the legal conformity of digital solutions are also increasing. The new partnership between DSwiss and the Austrian company A-Trust GmbH addresses precisely this intersection of challenges.
Partnership for the digital transformation
As part of the partnership between the two leading providers of digital security solutions, DSwiss has integrated A-Trust's qualified electronic signature (QES) directly into the SecureExchange cloud platform. The aim of the integration? An end-to-end digital, media-break-free and eIDAS-compliant solution for sensitive document processes.
"With A-Trust, we have a highly specialized partner at our side who enables us to implement an important functional extension in a particularly sensitive area of application," says Alexander Sommer, CEO of DSwiss.
End-to-end signature processes for sensitive documents
For customers in highly regulated industries, such as banks, insurance companies and public institutions, the partnership creates significant added value: documents no longer have to leave the secure SecureExchange environment to be signed, which not only reduces security risks in the process, but also significantly improves efficiency and user-friendliness. With QES in accordance with eIDAS standards, the integration also creates a legally compliant basis for digital signature processes that is recognized throughout Europe. The integration is used, for example, for concluding contracts in the banking sector, declarations of consent for insurance companies or document approvals in public administrations.
Signing without data outflow
The integration is implemented technically by means of an API connection: Documents are thus signed digitally and legally directly in SecureExchange. A-Trust only processes cryptographic hash values, which means that the sensitive content itself always remains in the highly secure SecureExchange environment. Dr. Markus Vesely, CEO of A-Trust, emphasizes: "DSwiss brings years of experience and a deep understanding of digital security in regulated markets. Together, we enable legally compliant signatures directly where confidential documents are created."
